Roof racks and roof rack mounted accessories tend to be pretty noisy. Especially when you throw a sunroof into the mix. If the noise is the worst with the sunroof open then you will most likely have to close it.
What you can try is repositioning the cargo box so that maybe the wind will hit it differently to see if the noise gets reduced. The best advice I can give you would be to experiment with various positions of the Thule Force XL Cargo Box part # TH625 on the roof of your 2010 Volvo XC60. Try sliding the box further forward if possible, or further back to see if the whistling sound will go away.

The Yakima round bars will allow more movement of pretty much any accessory due to the reduced surface area for the mount contact. The Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box XXL # TH6359B or XL # TH6358B with quick-grip mounting clamps will hold the box secure front to back but with round bars the side to side movement may continue to be an issue in crosswinds.

I checked with Thule and the Thule Sidekick item # TH78GC is not compatible with the T-Track Adapter for Thule Cargo Boxes item # TH27PQ. It fits only the cargo boxes with the PowerClick attachment points.
The T-Track adapter would not be a better option, over the included hardware, to mount the Sidekick on the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack item # MPG216. The MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent, # MA00-04000K requires 12 VDC to operate. Look at the connection in the power distribution panel. Perform continuity check from end of exposed wire to there to the wire at the fan location. If currently you do not have power at the fan location but you discover you do have have continuity. The serial number for your Thule Summit Cargo Box per Thule will be engraved underneath the lid near the front of the lid. We do not have any reverse mounting hardware that will enable the lid to open from any side besides the normal left side.

If your new 2021 Toyota Sienna Limited has the rear fin for the GPS or radio reception, the 82-3/4 inch long Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6358B will most likely cover the fin. Depending on what you have stored inside the cargo box, there may be some interference, but there should not be a complete blocking of the signal for your radio/GPS. With the lock cylinder removed you will be able to see the hole that the lock protrudes into. This piece should move inside the handle to allow that locking mechanism to either lock the handle or release the handle.
If it will not move you may try some WD40 on the mechanism to see if it will break free and allow you to open the handle.

If the dome on your MaxxAir # MA00-04002K vent fan will not open with the manual knob then the MaxxAir # MA10-20281K-3CF "operator" is broken and should be replaced. This is a little gear box that actuates the lifter arms on the lid.

I recommend un-installing the crossbar and foot and looking for where that "play" may be coming from. First in regards to your Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 13,500 Btu - White # ACM135, you need to take off the shroud and check if the fan itself will move freely.
If it feels rough, gummed up or even jammed it will need to be cleaned and oiled.
If you are getting proper power to the fan and it moves freely you will need to replace the fan motor and that is something we do not carry. You will need to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement. view full answer...
The easiest way to test any fan is to identify the fan motor lead wires and apply power directly to the wiring. Depending on your air conditioner the wiring may be identified on the control box or on the wiring itself. With your Atwood you could have one of a few issues. Do note the heat pump is not designed to work in temperatures 45 degrees Fahrenheit and below. So if you are in temperatures above this you will need to check the temperature sensor in the roof top unit to verify it is not damaged. The display/controller as well as the wiring for it may be damaged which would cause the main control unit inside the ceiling air distribution box to not know what the wall controller is set to. I reached out to my contact at Thule (they made the Sears roof boxes) and that key number is no longer a replaceable key. If the unit is unlocked you can use the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 2 # TH450200 as replacements.
If it is not unlocked you can either call a locksmith to have a key made for your locks or you can carefully drill out the core as drilling too far will damage the carrier. view full answer...
I contacted the manufacturer regarding the issue you are describing with your MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-07500K. They recommended first doing a reset on the fan. You can do this by removing power by pulling the fuse from the circuit the fan is on from the fuse box. Then reinsert the fuse to do a reset on the fan.

Yes, you have the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box, Start Capacitor, and Heat Strip, # ACM150CH. This is not an issue that we get often but it does sometimes occur with most any unit, when this happens it is frequently due to air flow. First check the direction of the vents and how the air is being directed. You can try using a something small like a pin or paperclip, inserting it into the lock core and attempting to loosen the key enough to the point you can grasp it with a pair of pliers; using a spray-on lubricant may help getting the pin inside the core.
